Welcome to Beyond
Beyond is a native Bitcoin L1 interoperability protocol, providing the necessary infrastructure for users to securely bridge any token to, from, and within Bitcoin L1.
Put simply, in an increasingly hyper-Bitcoinized world where everyone is deploying their own Bitcoin solutions, only Beyond exists to connect it all.
Bitcoin, Now Interoperable
Beyond is breaking new ground, not just as the only bi-directional bridge connecting the +$1 trillion Bitcoin market with the +$1 trillion altcoin ecosystem, but by going a step further to create the first-ever tri-directional bridge, integrating the different parts of the Bitcoin ecosystem also from within. This is not an incremental step; it’s a game-changer, unlocking liquidity across more than +$2 trillion in assets.
In a nutshell:
- Bridge the largest digital tokens like USDT, ETH, or SOL to Bitcoin L1.
- Move BTC, BRC-20s, or Runes—like ORDI or DOG—to any of the 70+ chains supported.
- Switch between Bitcoin token standards in a breeze.
Enabling the Bitcoin On-Chain Economy
Bitcoin's unparalleled decentralization, security, and global recognition have positioned it as the leading driving force of the entire blockchain industry for over a decade. However, the lack of infrastructure to support a real on-chain economy has traditionally resulted in Bitcoin being overshadowed by newer blockchains with advanced interoperability and decentralized finance capabilities.
Beyond exists to bridge this gap, prioritizing security to unleash Bitcoin's full potential by:
Bringing the largest digital assets to Bitcoin L1 (click to expand)
- Omnichain Interoperability: Connected via Beyond and LayerZero to the entire blockchain industry, Bitcoin can now seamlessly work together with
Ethereum
,Arbitrum
,BNB Chain
, and many more! - Bi-Directional Bridging: Users can move digital assets like $USDT or $ETH
to
andfrom
Bitcoin L1. - Multi-Standard Support: With Beyond, users are able to choose their preferred token standard while bringing assets into Bitcoin: BRC-20, Runes, Taproot Assets...
Enabling interoperability within Bitcoin layers (e.g. L2s) and meta-protocols (i.e. 'Bitcoin token standards')
Bitcoin differs from other blockchains in that currently over 15 different token standards exist, but so far none of them has managed to claim the 'de-facto token standard' role (like ERC-20 did in Ethereum for example).
- Cross-Standard Conversion: Seamlessly switch between standards without even leaving Bitcoin L1 (e.g.
BRC-20 $USDT
↔Runes $USDT
), including native tokens (e.g.BRC-20 $ORDI
↔Runes $ORDI
). - Sidechains & L2 Support: Beyond's infrastructure facilitates liquidity flow between major Bitcoin layers (L1 and L2s) and standards. This allows users and protocols to access the full liquidity of the Bitcoin ecosystem, rather than being restricted to specific niches (e.g.
BRC-20 $ORDI
↔Runes $ORDI
↔CORE-chain $ORDI
↔BOB-chain $ORDI
, which also applies to bridged tokens like USDT!).
Making Bitcoin the default global source of liquidity, accessible from any chain
- Bitcoin-native Asset Integration: Beyond also empowers Bitcoin assets like $ORDI or $DOG to navigate freely across all supported external networks, unleashing their growth potential from a single chain (Bitcoin), to the entire crypto-industry. In this way, native protocols can leverage Beyond's omnichain capabilities to tap into the broader industry's infrastructure and liquidity, allowing them to easily integrate with popular platforms across the industry like Aave or Uniswap(for example, a Bitcoin-native lending protocol may choose Uniswap to perform a specific liquidation in the most efficient manner).
- Universal BTC Wrapper: Beyond allows users to bridge their BTC into any of the biggest wrappers (wBTC, tBTC, fBTC...) or its own
bBTC
, which serves as a universal wrapper that unifies and connects all the BTC liquidity across all chains (even those with no wrappers deployed natively). - Consolidated Liquidity: With Beyond, moving BTC and other Bitcoin assets to and from supported networks is a breeze. This consolidates Bitcoin's role as a ubiquitous source of liquidity, accessible and operable across the entire blockchain landscape.
Going Beyond Digital Gold

Bitcoin currently boasts a market valuation of over US$1.3 trillion (with T), reflecting its role as a global store of value, a medium for transactions, and its established acceptance as an asset class. Despite this, Bitcoin's on-chain economic activity currently accounts for just 0.06% of that value! Beyond steps in to shift this market dynamic, positioning Bitcoin at the epicenter of Web3 innovation by delivering the only Bitcoin-focused holistic interoperability solution—breaking through the barriers that previously limited its growth.
Within this context, Beyond accelerates a multi-trillion-dollar future where Bitcoin becomes the powerhouse for all-things Web3 on a global scale. Our team and community are beyond excited to play a crucial role in enabling this evolution from just a store of value ("digital gold"), to a fully functional Bitcoin-powered on-chain economy.
